From 2:00-5:00, this event is an interactive exhibit, featuring old film equipment, presentations on classic film and Vaudeville, and a space to record your memory of the Union Theatre or a similar theatre. From 5:30-7:00 sit back and enjoy a classic FILM with popcorn and concessions.

Parking is available on the street, in the parking garage, or at the public parking lots nearby.

From 2-5pm it's an interactive exhibit; from 5:30-7:30 we have a classic film screening for you! Come and go as you please!

This event starts out as an interactive, educational event as "a tribute to the Union theatre" with talks about the history of vaudeville and the history of early cinema. Participants will interact with old film projectors as well as other classic filmmaking items. There will also be a little booth where participants can record their memories of the Union Theatre (or similar theatres) if they would like. At 5:30, participants may sit back and relax as the Union Theatre team presents a classic film screening for the whole family to enjoy. More details to be announced soon! Tickets are donation- based, all are welcome. This event is Part of ArtWeek SouthCoast 2026, a 10-day regional celebration of art, culture, and community across Southeastern Massachusetts, taking place May 8-17, 2026.
